Sarah Rowland: Educational Consultant and Experienced Academic Advisor

“Over decades of working with students, I learned this valuable lesson: every young person is unique and has his or her own individual path to success. My job is to help find that path and to provide the tools to open it up.”

Sarah specializes in understanding students’ gifts as well as their challenges, supporting them in building personal agency, and sending them on their way with well-earned pride of accomplishment.

She graduated with a B.A. from Denison University in 1989 before embarking on a career of educational leadership in a series of independent schools, as director of admissions and financial aid, placement director, and as a teacher and advisor. She has also consulted with schools seeking to improve their admissions processes and administrative teams, and worked internationally as a representative of American schools abroad.

“My first love is working one-on-one with students.”

Currently, Sarah holds sessions with young people on line.
